Everything You Ever Really Needed to Know About Personal Finance On Just One Page
I know that many, many people out there are big Dave Ramsey fans. I have actually never gone through his program, but I have listened to his show a time or two and I also printed a document that listed his seven baby steps, which I am currently following (I have completed steps 1, 2 and 5).
If you’re like me and are interested in getting your financial house in order, but don’t feel like going to a class to learn how, then maybe you’d be interested in a one page document that tells you everything you need to know. OK, maybe not everything you need to know, but it gives the basics. The details are in the 48 pages that follow, including 100 ways to easily save money.
Trent over at the Simple Dollar has created an electronic book that he is giving away absolutely free and he is not asking for anything in return. I subscribe to his RSS feed and often appreciate what he has to say. This is a compilation of many of his posts into a concise form. Feel free to check it out by clicking on the link below. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Although several of Trent’s steps are somewhat at odds with Dave’s, either will get you out of your financial mess if you dedicate yourself to that end. In fact, Trent went from a very high level of debt to debt-free and quitting his day job in just about two years. Impressive what you can do when you put your mind to it.
