Got Sprouts?

sprouts_Page_01Recently, a good friend of mine followed his dream and left a stable career (as stable as a career can be) to start his own marketing company. I think that several of the things that he did when starting out were very smart and will lead to great success for him as he builds his business. First of all, he built a foundation (a network or “deep roots”) for himself by knowing people with a wide array of skills. If you’re looking for an insurance agent, a doctor, a band to book, an artist or a real estate agent, I’m sure that Clark can help you out.

What I’d really like to talk about is the latest FREE product from his company, Good Earth Creative. He has published an exquisite eBook that any size business can use to increase their customer exposure and loyalty. One reason I say exquisite is because the artwork alone is something rarely seen today in marketing materials. The artists who contributed to this product are just two examples of the deep roots that Clark has access to.

Click the following link to see the book and get your own free fertile ideas.

A quick look inside the book reveals a list of “Sprouts” or fertile ideas that you can use to grow your business.

  • Get your SWAG on. Never let your clients leave empty-handed. Make sure they have something that will keep your business on their mind.
  • Go viral. Get people talking about you, whatever it takes.
  • Be a conduit. Make yourself known in community activities.
  • Use Video. Besides a live event, there is probably nothing more engaging than creative video advertising.
  • Round up a posse. Don’t be afraid to use the strengths of your network.
  • When you make a contact, make a connection. How many business cards do you have from people you’ve met. How many of those people have you shared an experience with?
  • Publish an eBook. Surprise… an eBook telling you to publish and eBook.

Overall, I really like the idea of this book. Although this information is available in myriad other places, it’s nice to have a handy checklist to carry around. If you own a business, or are planning to open one soon, I’d recommend that you try to put each one of these sprouts into action and watch as your business grows into a thriving forest.
